If you are looking for exciting activities and adventures in the San Juan Islands, San Juan PM has made a list of some of the fun activities on the island for you to choose from.
Krystal Acres Alpaca Farm And Country Store
Kris and Albert Olson are the proprietors of Krystal Acres, an 80-acre alpaca farm on San Juan Island in Washington State. A herd of about 50 constantly expanding alpacas resides in the calm shade of enormous 100-year-old oak trees on the sweeping slopes of sunny fields.
Visitors are welcome to meander across the property, observe the animals, and stop by the Country Store to peruse an exceptional alpaca-wool sweater, jackets, and soft toys collection. Along with alpaca yarns, they sell various accessories like socks, slippers, and coats.
You want to ensure you book vacation homes in San Juan Island that are close to all the activities you want to do.
Arctic Raven Gallery
Native American artwork from the Arctic and the American Northwest Coast is displayed at the Arctic Raven Gallery, a gallery in Friday Harbor on San Juan Island in Puget Sound. Various Northwest Coast Indian masks, prints, and wood carvings from the local Kwagiulth, Coast Salish, and Makah nations, as well as the Haida, Tlingit, and Tsimshian from farther north, are on display in the gallery.
The gallery proudly represents some of the most well-known figures, including Susan Point, Robert Davidson, and the Hunt family. Visitors can envision the distinctive way of life and how the inhabitants of the complicated northern environment have adapted via the different arm forms of the different tribes.
